This is a portrait I did of a man. The face is slightly turned. I used pen and markers and watercolor. I was thinking of doing something a little more experimental but just enjoyed drawing him so much that I didn't play with the different techniques that I intended.
I started the drawing with an HB pencil on some practice watercolor paper, then went over it with a .1mm marker after that I used some watercolors. I didn't want to make the picture too common and was going to play with other colors but actually toned down the abstraction that I wanted to do. I might try a different approach next time.
