Charcoal Sketch of Woman 3/4 View |
The slight turn of the face is more interesting than the face seen straight on. This was a practice project of a common pose. It was not a good results the eyes were too far apart for the turn of the face since the relationship of the eyes to each other become foreshortened. I gave up on it or got bored. The hair was fun to play with; I wanted it to be an impression and mixing technique of blending and leaving the pencil line raw and untouched. The resource material was a little out of focus and parts of the mouth were vague.
