Mixed Media Portrait of Young Woman

This was a doodle I did with pencils and Sharpie (R) marker. I am doing a little bit of experimentation with combining media.

I did a quick light scribble sketch in graphite first which I lifted out with a kneaded erasure which left faint lines.  Then I went over it with color pencils then finished with Sharpie (R) marker.  I want to have my work look like a drawing so I keep things loose.  It was only a doodle and if it was a serious project I would have spent more time on it and developed things more. I finished with a little white charcoal pencil to restore some highlights. For some reason, they didn't scan in so well.

The flatbed scanner made the white blue for some reason.
